I don't always dye platinum sock but when I do, it's usually speckles and colours I think will be perfect in socks! It's also a great all around yarn for homeware, shawls and sweaters!
Platinum Sock is 75% superwash merino and 25% nylon so makes great hardwearing socks. It's the yarn I wrote the Simply Lace Socks pattern for.
I always recommend handwashing your handdyed yarn projects.
When using multiple skeins on a single project, I recommend interchanging your skeins every few rows and rounds.
