A new pattern in Cashmere Lace!

A new pattern in Cashmere Lace!

Published by Shee on 29th Apr 2020

I am beyond thrilled to share the latest design from Bronagh Miskelly (regular lace design contributor for The Knitter and Knitting magazine!) in a skein of our Cashmere lace! Into the Woods is a beautiful lace weight and lace knit shawl, shown here in Shee! You can find the pattern here on Ravelry: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/into-the-woods-15 and if you check out Bronagh's Facebook page, there is currently a discount available!

While looking at Bronagh’s lovely shawl, we thought we’d check out some of the other gorgeous options on Ravelry that may work well with our Cashmere Lace (sssooo soft!)

Martina Behm designs the most beautiful patterns and this is just gorgeous! Approximately two skeins of Cashmere lace … it has a hood!

A perfect Summer knit, and one I have myself in my wardrobe (admittedly in a different yarn), the Bonny from Tin Can Knits is a gorgeous, elegant knit:

This beautiful simple top and the yardage means you can make some sizes in just a single skein of yarn and only two for up to the largest size!

Boo Knits are at the top of my list of patterns to try (anyone selling additionally time?) and when I saw Snow Angel, I just fell in love with it! A single skein of our Cashmere Lace should be enough! (Always swatch ; ))

For folk who prefer lace weight knits that are less airy, there is this beautiful shawl called Stitches in Time from Munroe Sisters3. Such a beautiful wrap.

And for crochet folk …

I find the idea of lace crochet terrifying so I have gone for a pattern from one of the more reliable crochet designers I could find for this lace weight recommendation, the Altair shawl from Joanne Scrace. A single skein of our Cashmere Lace should be sufficient.

And a second crochet lace shawl, this time from Aiobhe Ni

Now, Michelle is going to be making Into the Woods with Ruin or Apocalypse in Cashmere Lace as part of the TLYC Knit and Natter Make a long in May! There will be a vote on our Facebook page for which colour shortly! We’ll be posting her progress here on Banshee Yarns as well! Fingers crossed it’s good progress! There will be a lot of life lines! : )

Now, best I go dye some more Shee as everyone seems to want it for some reason! ; )

All our in stock Cashmere Lace yarn can be found here:

Take care out there,

Shee
