We are thrilled to add Dye Candy Cloud to our Dye Candy collection. Cloud is a super soft base of brushed baby suri alpaca spun around a mulberry silk to create a gorgeous alternative for people who cannot use mohair.
This yarn can be used on its own or held double with another yarn to create the most beautiful soft accessories and garments.
There is 50g per skein.
Dye Candy yarn is dyed by Lindsay Hutchinson (Hutch) in her studio in Randalstown, Northern Ireland. She advises hand washing and always lying flat to dry, to ensure you get the best out of your items.
Although every effort has been taken to ensure colourfast yarn, you may experience a small amount of colour bleeding on the first couple of washes. This is normal for hand dyed yarn.
Yarn Ball Weight: 50g per skein

What to make?
Many knitters are using Baby Suri Alpaca and Silk blends in place of Mohair Silk blends. There is less yardage in the Alpaca so you may need to buy more yarn. Michelle used Mohair Silk in both the Snuggle Shawl and her Love Note sweater but many people have used the Cloud base in these and they are gorgeous. Remember, always swatch when substituting : )
