This pattern was originally designed for Knit School as part of the Colourwork Masterclass and is now available here on The Loveliest Yarn Company site.

The Pulse Point wristlets kit includes 4 25g balls of Baa Ram Ewe Pip Colourwork and a printed copy of the Pulse Points Wristlets pattern.

There are two colours options:

Pack 1: Lotherton, Malham, Viking & Bishopstorpe

Pack 2: Parkin, Malham, Plumpton & Runswick.

By changing which colour is colour 1 in the pattern, you can make two pairs of the wristlets.

About the yarn

Pip Colourwork is a handy 25g size and knits to a standard 4 ply weight, with 126 yards on the ball. Like all of the other baa ram ewe yarns it has a beautiful handle: soft and squishy yet with enough grip to bind the shades together. The range includes 15 shades selected from the signature baa ram ewe palette which blend beautifully together, perfect for all your colour work needs.

About the pattern

I have definitely shared how I feel the cold! I’m a lizard whose bones need constant warming. But, when I’m dyeing or when I’m doing a lot of work on the keyboard, I find that my sockkens get in the way. And so, the Pulse Point Wristlets came about! The stranded colourwork makes them double-layered and each colour uses less than 20g, so they are perfect for either Baa Ram Ewe Pip Colourwork or mini-skeins!
