This cuff down, heel-flap sock with a simple four line lace repeat is a great introduction to socks which are more decorative than a plain sock. The pattern is structured for distribution on 4 double pointed needles and knitting with the 5th needle but can be knit on your preferred sock needles. The socks photographed in the pattern have been knit using Lay Family Yarn 75% wool, 25% nylon 4 ply but can be knit in any 4 ply weight sock yarn.

We no longer stock this yarn but this pattern has been knit in many different 4ply sock yarns including Banshee Yarns Yak Sock.
